Jacqui and i are off to Holland. She left on Wednesday night and had a good but rather sleepless one. That's probably why she said I should buy some sleeping-pills! It was good to see the International departure area at Jhb again - it's been a long time since I was there. Many more restaurants and facilities.
The plane trip was nice. I had my own entertainment centre in the armrest that folded open and provided me with a menu for movies, tv, music and games. I watched a fairly silly movie, 'just add water' - bit funny but bad storyline.
I sat next to a chap who works closely with the UN. We had a lot of chats about life and faith. He's somewhat a non-agnostic, but doesn't believe in God ??
Anyhow, nice guy. He has a home in Nelspruit, but lives in Geneva, or is it Norway?well, he certainly gets around a lot.
The passage was quite simple, despite the German language. The attendants seem to be tired of answering the same old questions. "FOLLOW THE SIGNS!" at least i'll ask and just be sure
One of the best views yet was of the Italian coastline at dawn.
The weather now is overcast, and i'm waiting for my train ride to Amsterdam. I should go and get dressed for the wedding.Feeling all sweaty and sticky. I just hope that i'm not forgetting to do something important.better read my docs. Thom said I must try a Pretzel. Should I be having it plain, or with some topping?
