Again we were up early to continue our journey to Knysna, where Malcolm has been called to Pastor the Baptist Church. I was very grateful for my new baby as she handled the road so well, giving me confidance and peace as we drove down.

We arrived in Knysna at about mid-day and met with Charlotte to get the keys to the house that the Church has so kindly rented for us. We are so blessed in this house! We were welcomed with a fruit basket, tea and coffee etc and our fridge was stocked with lunch goodies. The church has also been blessing us with meals so that I could have some time to find my way around here first. Our home has 4 bedrooms and is fully furnished. Our belongings are safely stored in the double garage until we buy our own home. This house has a beautiful view of the Lagoon as well as a lovely swimming pool. So for the next 2 months we are definately on holiday!

With our arrival to Knysna came the arrival of Mumps! Perfect timing :( It took us a while to figure out why Lila was looking so chubby, but when her fever came we put the two together. So for those of you who we had contact with in Jhb, We're really sorry if we've passed it on to your kids. It wasn't long before Danica also started to resemble a hamster who was storing a pantry in it's cheeks! I overheard the girls laughing infront of the mirror and calling themselves the FATTY FATS! The picture explains it all!
Unfortunately we couldn't greet Kysna with a bang, and were on house arrest until the girl's symptoms dissappeared. Malcolm had to attend church on his own and promised not to kiss anyone!
