A Morning on the Rheenendaal Road

Today we decided to spend to day together as a family,

out in God's beautiful creation.

We were on the look out for any ducks as the girls are learning about ducks in Homeschool,

but unfortunately we couldn't find any.

Anyway, the weather was beautiful, so we drove out on the Rheenendaal Road armed with a picnic basket, lots of snacks, cameras and a blanket.

We drove and drove and drove,

just taking in the beautiful landscape around us.

We passed many farms with their cattle, sheep and horses,

and Guest houses too.

We came upon a farm with 3 HUGE, stunning, white horses. We decided that this was what we had been looking for and parked the car right there, pulled out the blanket and basket and enjoyed a lovely morning ooohing and aaaing over these creatures.


"Pees have more?" ~ Zacky couldn't get enough cheese curls!
