Thank you Lord for an AWESOME day!

Posting this post now really ruins the chronology of the blog, but I couldn't help but upload these gems!

The girls and I have been studying Elephants as our Unit study theme, so to round it off I wanted to take them to the Knysna Elephant Park. It is however a bit pricey, but when I went online yesterday morning to see if I could find details of the Knysna Elephant park to get exact details, I saw that they were having a Father's day special! Dad's get to visit the Elephant park for free! Thank you Lord for such a gift!

Then as if that wasn't enough, when I scrolled down I saw that kids get to go free for the month of June! Wow Wow!!! (for those of you who know me well, you know I LOVE a bargain!)

So after church we changed into we-don't-mind-getting-Elephant-gob-on-these clothes and headed off for the park.

First we blessed Daddy with special father's day gifts, cards and cuddles, and then tucked into a fabulous lunch!

We then signed up for our guided tour only having to pay for Mommy

(Thank you Jesus!)

Asif the Lord hadn't blessed this family enough already, He decided to out do himself! We got to meet the newest addition to the Elephant herd, only 13 hours old! Had we gone yesterday, we would have missed it. Isn't God AWESOME!!! Unfortunately we we're not allowed to take any pictures.

Anyway, enough babble. Here are pictures of us with the Elephants. They really are beautiful creatures, although their skin as SO rough and prickly.
